स्थानीय समाजसेवी, शिक्षाविदहरु, बुद्धिजीविहरु, साथै विभिन्न संघ-संस्थामा आवद्ध व्यक्तित्वहरुको अथक प्रयास पश्चात मिति २०४१/१२/०७ मा योगी श्री १०८ नरहरिनाथ द्वारा श्री चिरञ्जिवी ढकालको अध्यक्षतामा वैदिक वाङ्मयको विकासको लागि श्री 'महाकाली वैदिक विद्यापिठ' नामबाट शिलान्यास भएको थियो । मिति २०४६/१२/२३ मा जिल्ला शिक्षा निरिक्षकको कार्यालय कञ्चनपुरबाट 'श्री महाकाली प्राथमिक विद्यालय' नामबाट प्रा.वि. शिक्षक दरबन्दी सहित सरकारी मान्यता दिईएको पाईन्छ ।
यो विद्यालय कञ्चनपुरको सदरमुकाम भिमदत्तनगरबाट करीब ५० कि.मी. दक्षिणपूर्व, बेलौरी नगरपालिका-१ मटैया स्थित पर्यटकीय स्थल बन्धातालको पूर्वपट्टी धार्मिक एवम् साँस्कृतिक स्थल विश्वकल्याण कोटिहोम धामको छेवैमा, पुनर्वास नगरपालिका वडा नं. ४ को पश्चिम किनारमा तथा गोकुलपुर-धनगढी मूल सडकको उत्तरतिर रहेको छ । यस विद्यालयको उत्तरतर्फ अंशुबर्माबस्ती रहेको छ । हाल यस विद्यालयमा दुई ओटा स्वीकृत शिक्षक दरबन्दी, एउटा बालविकास दरबन्दी र एउटा कार्यालय सहयोगीको दरबन्दी गरी जम्मा ४ ओटा दरबन्दी रहेका छन् । यस विद्यालयमा बालविकास कक्षा (शिशु कक्षा) देखि कक्षा ५ सम्म पठनपाठन हुँदै आईरहेको छ । यो विद्यालय पुनर्वास नगरपालिका वडा नं. ४ मा रहेकाले कोटिहोम गाउँका विद्यार्थी, पुनर्वास नगरपालिका वडा नं. १ अंशुबर्माबस्ती र बेलौरी नगरपालिका वडा नं. १ मटैयाका बालबालिकाहरुका लागि यो विद्यालय पठनपाठनका लागि पायक पर्ने स्थानमा रहेको छ ।
Through the relentless efforts of local social workers, educators, intellectuals, and personalities associated with various organizations, the foundation of 'Mahakali Vedic Vidyapith' was laid on 2041/12/07 BS under the chairmanship of Mr. Chiranjivi Dhakal by Yogi Sri 108 Narharinath for the development of Vedic literature. It is found that the school was officially recognized by the District Education Inspector's Office, Kanchanpur, on 2046/12/23 BS under the name 'Shree Mahakali Primary School' along with a primary teacher quota.
यस विद्यालयको सेवा क्षेत्र भित्र करीब ९०० भन्दा बढी घरधुरीहरुमा झण्डै ४००० भन्दा बढी जनसंङ्खयामा ५२% महिला र ४८% पुरुषको जनसंङ्खया रहेको छ । करीब ७०० को हाराहारीमा विद्यालय जाने उमेरका बालबालिकाहरु रहेका छन् । सेवा क्षेत्रका मानिसहरु अधिकांश गरीब, अशिक्षित र सामान्य स्तरका रहेका छन् । यहाँ ब्राह्मण, क्षेत्री, दलित, जनजाति आदि रहेका छन् । अधिकांश मानिसहरु गरीबीको रेखा मुनि रहेका छन्।यहाँ प्रायः नेपाली, राना, चौधरी, डोटेली र केही सामान्य हिन्दी तथा अन्य भाषीहरु रहेका छन् । सामाजिक चेतनास्तर विकासोन्मुख रहेको छ । विगतको तुलनामा वर्तमान समयमा यस समुदायका मानिसहरुमा धेरै परिवर्तनहरु आएको देखिन्छ ।
This school is located about 50 km southeast of Bhimdattanagar, the headquarters of Kanchanpur, in Belauri Municipality-1, Mataiya, on the eastern side of the tourist spot Bandhatal, right next to the religious and cultural site Bishwakalyan Kotihom Dham, on the western edge of Punarwas Municipality Ward No. 4, and to the north of the Gokulpure-Dhangadhi main road. Anshubarmabasti is situated to the north of this school. Currently, the school has a total of 4 positions, comprising 2 approved teacher positions, 1 early childhood development (ECD) position, and 1 office assistant position. Classes from early childhood development (infant class) up to grade 5 are being conducted here. Since the school is located in Punarwas Municipality Ward No. 4, it is situated in a convenient location for the education of children from Kotihom village, Anshubarmabasti in Punarwas Municipality Ward No. 1, and Mataiya in Belauri Municipality Ward No. 1.
Within the service area of this school, there are around 900+ households with a population of over 4,000, consisting of 52% females and 48% males. There are approximately 700 school-aged children. Most of the people in the service area are poor, uneducated, and have a standard living condition. There are Brahmins, Chhetris, Dalits, Janajatis, etc. Most of the people live below the poverty line. The primary languages spoken here are Nepali, Rana, Chaudhary, Doteli, alongside some basic Hindi and other languages. The level of social awareness is developing. Compared to the past, many changes have been observed among the people of this community in the present time.
